How to Make a GIF Without Photoshop (so easy!)

Guys, this is the best hack for photographers.

Everyone loves a good GIF, but not everyone loves (or wants to learn) Photoshop. Myself included!

This hack is as easy as can be, allowing you to make amazing GIFs in under 5 minutes. The key? iMovie!

I posted a sweet reel showing you the exact steps on my Instagram page here. Watch below, and I’ll also write out the steps to keep things real simple for ya.

Step 1. Open iMovie on laptop or desktop

Step 2. Import photos

Step 3. Add them to timeline

Step 4. Adjust crop/framing if necessary

Step 5. Shorten each frame to 0.1 seconds (or 0.2 depending on preference)

Step 6. Play through and make sure you like it

Step 7. Duplicate, if you want the gif to run twice through

Step 8. Export & voila!
