We all know that Colorado is overflowing with beautiful views and mouth-watering backdrops. But this can make it hard to choose the perfect spot to take your engagement photos! That’s why I’ve curated this list of my ultimate favorite photo locations, so you can get the Save the Dates of your dreams.

This is a really beautiful road up into the mountains, with lots of easy pull-offs with epic mountain views! It’s not usually super populated, as it is a bit higher up.

2. Chautauqua Park - https://maps.app.goo.gl/TyiJ4qyrn4mKWT7x9

This spot is just a few minutes drive from the Flagstaff spot, so the two work well together if you decide to have two locations! This one's got the classic Flatirons view in the background which people really love. Also has a parking lot.

Big loop trail around a beauuuutiful lake with amazing sunsets! Plus there’s a lil reservoir beach if you keep walking a bit. Also has a parking lot!

There are many gorgeous riverside spots along Boulder Creek. It’s especially fun if you’re down to do a little swimming!

5. Mount Sanitas / Centennial / Red Rocks Trails - https://maps.app.goo.gl/Rbphd5fGHb2mGvPaA

This is a spot with multiple different trails through the mountains. The views are a bit more open and tend to be pretty populated, but magical nonetheless! There is a parking lot here too.

6. NCAR Trailhead - https://maps.app.goo.gl/avKEowLrmunpxJ2k6

This is a set of trails in the back of the NCAR Lab. Easy to drive to with lots of parking, plus a teeny tiny hike (like 10-15mins) to get a bit into the mountains. Super beautiful & expansive the farther you walk.
